Precautions Against Employment Scams and Fraudulent Offer Letters

We, at RPI Rentals, prioritize the safety and security of our applicants and employees. We have been alerted to fraudulent entities issuing fake employment offer letters under our company’s name and logo. These deceptive offers may solicit personal information, payments, or other sensitive data from unsuspecting job seekers.

To safeguard yourself, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Verify Sources: Authenticate any job offer by reaching out to our HR department directly via our official website and contact form.
  2. Beware of Unsolicited Offers: Exercise caution with unsolicited job offers received through email or social media, particularly if you have not applied for a position with our company. We never extend a job offer without conducting a virtual or in-person interview. Furthermore, all our email communications originate from an address ending in rpirents.com.
  3. Do Not Disclose Personal Information: Our company will never solicit personal information such as bank account details, credit card numbers, or payments for recruitment purposes.
  4. Report Suspected Fraud: If you encounter a fictitious job offer claiming to be from RPI Rentals, or if you suspect you have fallen victim to fraudulent activity online, we advise you to contact and file a complaint with the FBI (https://www.ic3.gov/).

At RPI Rentals, we are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of integrity and security throughout our recruitment process. We regret any inconvenience caused by these fraudulent activities and appreciate your vigilance in protecting yourself and others from such scams.

Note to Recruiters, Placement Agencies, Employment Agencies, and Similar Organizations (collectively “External Servicers”):

RPI Rentals does not accept unsolicited resumes from External Servicers. Hoar will not consider or agree to any payment of referral compensation or recruiter fee without a signed agreement between the External Servicer and RPI Rentals. If an External Servicer submits a resume or a candidate without first having a signed and effective agreement with Hoar, then Hoar shall have the right to pursue and hire such candidate(s) without any financial obligation to that External Servicer. Further, any unsolicited resumes, including those submitted directly to hiring managers, shall be considered the property of RPI Rentals.

External Servicers are also directed NOT to contact RPI Rentals employees directly to present candidates.
